There are days when I spend a lot of time in my car driving back and forth between listing and showing appointments. It’s just part of Realtor life. And when I’m not working, I like to travel and take road trips. All that driving can get tiring – not to mention boring. As a result, I listen to a lot of podcasts. It helps pass the time plus it also keeps me focused and up to speed on what’s going on in the market so I can better serve my clients. Here’s a few of my favorites, (not in any particular order). I've included a link to each and of course you can also listen to any of them on your podcast app of choice.
The Brian Buffini Show. This is not just for real estate agents, but for anyone who has an interest in improving their business and personal growth. As Brian mentions on his show, it’s all about exploring the “mindset, motivation and methodologies” behind success. Plus, ya gotta love that Irish accent.
Bigger Pockets. This is a really popular one and all about real estate investing. It’s inspiring, informative, entertaining and has something for everyone – from rookies to pros.
Super Agents Live. Interviews with agents who sell more than 50 million a year in volume and how they do it. 50 MILLION? Yes, please.
The Tom Ferry Podcast Experience. As pretty much any real estate agent knows, Tom is one of the leaders in real estate coaching and has been around a very long time. His show has tons of inspiration, ideas and ways to grow your business.
Ninja Coaching Coast to Coast. This is a much lesser-known show but I really like it. It’s primarily for agents and mortgage brokers, but also has usable information for sales professionals in general. Ninja selling is very client and relationship focused, which is personally how I choose to run my business so I find it especially helpful.
GSD Mode by Joshua Smith. This podcast primarily focuses on interviews with leaders in the industry and agents who really dominate in their market. There’s a great library of episodes and some of the interviews are really fascinating.
Planet Money. Okay this is a really big one and definitely not real estate related, but lots of great topics on all kinds of economy-related issues. The hosts and correspondents do an incredible job breaking down complex economic issues into digestible and relatable episodes.
The Dave Ramsey Show. Another popular one and all about money and personal finances. I love hearing the call0ins from people around the world and Dave is always spot-on with his advice.
