I am a Memphian by choice.  I was born in southern Mississippi and raised in Florida.  I have lived all over this great country, but Memphis is home.

My husband is from the Mid-South and a retired prior-enlisted Naval Aviator.  During his tour at nearby NSA Millington, I truly, and frankly unexpectedly, fell absolutely in love with Memphis and the Mid-South.  By the end of his tour, I knew it was here that I wanted my family to firmly plant its roots.

During my husband’s service, we moved many times, living in cities great and small along the East, West, and Gulf Coasts.  I gained valuable experience with each move, buying, selling, and staging homes and assisting others to do the same.  Each new house and new neighborhood revealed more and more of what was important to me and my family in both a home and in a community.   There is no one-size-fits-all home or neighborhood.  And what is important to us evolves with time—and may not necessarily be perfectly clear to us from the outset of our search for our new home.
